About the Event

*For All Grades

At highly selective universities, strong grades and test scores are just the starting point. What truly sets applicants apart are the stories they tell through their experiences. In this interactive webinar, we’ll explore how a Leadership Project, also known as a Passion Project, can give your student a unique edge in the college admissions process. A Leadership Project is an independent, student-driven initiative that showcases personal interests, creative thinking, and real-world impact. These projects can include launching a nonprofit, creating a podcast, designing a research study, developing an app, leading a community campaign, or writing a book. What matters most is that the project is authentic, aligned with the student’s academic or career goals, and demonstrates initiative, leadership, and follow-through. We’ll break down: What makes a Leadership Project compelling to admissions officers How to brainstorm project ideas based on your student’s strengths and interests Real examples of successful student-led initiatives How to align your project with your intended major or future career goals Practical steps to get started (and keep it manageable!) This is a must-attend session for families looking to elevate their college applications through meaningful and memorable experiences. Reserve your spot today and help your student build their competitive edge.

PRESENTERS:

Dale Price, MBA

Founder & Owner

Access College America

Since 2006, Dale has been a thought leader and pragmatic guide in the college preparation process. While in California, he served in admissions from a globally-recognized institution. His expertise in advising parents and students has resulted in millions of dollars in scholarships and college acceptances from colleges coast-to-coast.

Says Dale, “My goal is to ensure that every one of our scholars ultimately finds the right school for them. My number one priority is to help our scholars highlight their strengths and tell their stories in the most competitive contexts. While working with us our parents get to focus on what they do best, that’s parenting. We take over as the college knowledge experts.”

Before completing his Master in Business Administration degree from the University of Redlands he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, with a minor in government, from the University of Texas, Austin.

Dale is the Former Scholarship Chair and the Past President of Texas Exes, Los Angeles.
