About the Event
The Common Application Activity List is often used in place of a resume within the college application. Students can include up to 10 activities that reflect their involvement, accomplishments, interests, and talents throughout high school. With only 150 characters per entry, strategy is essential.
In this hands-on workshop, scholars will use our template to narrow their Activity List to their strongest 10 entries. We will discuss how to organize and rank activities, strengthen descriptions, use effective action verbs, and revise entries for maximum impact.
What You Will Take Away:
A clearer understanding of what colleges look for in the Activity List
Guidance on selecting and ranking your top 10 activities
Strategies for writing stronger descriptions within the 150-character limit
Tips for using action verbs and context to highlight impact
A more refined Common App Activity List draft of at least one of your activities

Revised Activity Log & Resume
