For All Grade Levels!

Maybe you have been wondering what is needed to "land" an opportunity to Volunteer,  find a potential Community Service project, or maybe find that Internship you have been looking for.  Melissa recently presented this information for the City of Austin Teen Leadership Days, where she was able to guide the students through some key activities to not only reflect on networking opportunities, but also develop a key list of individuals who will help you get to where you want to be.

Topics Include:

  • Why Networking is Important for High School Students
  • Networking tips and advice
  • How to go about finding opportunities to network

Important Information:

  • No prerequisites required
  • This will be an interactive lab
  • Scholars will be on-screen for the lab
  • The scholar should be in a quiet location

Presenter:

Melissa Wood, M.Ed.
