Write to Stand Out. The essays are the most personal, and often the most stressful, part of the application.
But when done right, they can be your teen’s greatest advantage. This interactive webinar is designed to demystify the college writing process and help families understand what truly makes an essay powerful, purposeful, and persuasive.
We’ll break down:
The main essay: what makes it great (and what falls flat)
The Common App Activities List & Short Answer Questions
UT’s Expanded Resume: how to organize and showcase impact
Writing timelines, topic strategies, and storytelling tips
🗣️ This is an interactive presentation, attendees can ask questions in real time, and registrants are invited to submit their questions in advance to ensure they’re addressed.
📌 Highly recommended for rising seniors and juniors, parents and students should attend together for the full benefit.
