Families who begin planning early have more options, less stress, and greater confidence navigating the process. Whether your student is in 9th, 10th, or 11th grade, this interactive session will help you build a strong foundation and take control of the college journey.
We’ll discuss:
How to build a competitive profile step by step
When (and how) to start the college essay
Smart ways to approach test planning and class selection
Summer experiences that help—not hurt—applications
How admissions officers evaluate applicants

John Baier, MS is the College Consulting Director. He studied at Purdue University. He completed his Bachelor's in psychology and Master's in Health and Kinesiology. John is the College Consultant Director for Access College America and assists his scholars with competitive strategies for college admissions. Additionally, as someone fascinated with impacting people's behavior, he has extensive knowledge of health and behavior change theory which allows him to provide additional skills in the area of executive functioning.
