About the Event

College brings together two things parents care about the most: Their money & their kids. But now the process of applying to college has evolved and highly selective colleges have been deemed ‘highly rejective’ colleges. How can you prepare today for success tomorrow? Attend this presentation to learn about activity building, essay prep, summer planning, SAT & ACT updates plus strategies for STEM interests!

This presentation also includes a Q&A. Parent(s) are encouraged to attend with their high school student.

Presenter:

Dale Price, MBA

Founder & Owner

Access College America

Since 2006, Dale has been a thought leader and pragmatic guide in the college preparation process. While in California, he served in admissions from a globally-recognized institution. His expertise in advising parents and students has resulted in millions of dollars in scholarships and college acceptances from colleges coast-to-coast.

Says Dale, “My goal is to ensure that every one of our scholars ultimately finds the right school for them. My number one priority is to help our scholars highlight their strengths and tell their stories in the most competitive contexts. While working with us our parents get to focus on what they do best, that’s parenting. We take over as the college knowledge experts.”

College preparation has become increasingly complex, with online and hybrid learning, test-optional, and a wide variety of student needs and preferences. Dale has kept on top of trends and options and, as a result, provides highly personalized and compassionate advisory services. Special needs students and their parents, the LGBTQIA+ community, returning students, veterans, and traditional applicants (high school to college) are treated as individuals throughout the entire process.

Before completing his Master in Business Administration degree from the University of Redlands he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, with a minor in government, from the University of Texas, Austin.

Dale is the Former Scholarship Chair and the Past President of Texas Exes, Los Angeles. Dale is a Professional Member of the Higher Education Consultants Association, an Associate Member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association, a Life Member of the Texas-Exes and serves as an Ambassador for the Westlake Chamber of Commerce.

He also serves on several scholarship award committees and has personally reviewed countless competitive college essays, personal statements, and scholarship applications.
