College Consulting Director

Access College America

John Baier, M.S. studied at Purdue University. He completed his Bachelor's in psychology and Master's in Health and Kinesiology. As someone fascinated with impacting people's behavior, he took his knowledge of health and behavior change theory and worked with students as an executive functioning specialist.

His previous work with students helped them to better understand how to create effective organization strategies during the college application process. Additionally, this work also provided insight into how to overcome procrastination to stay on task and complete application components on time.

One of John's passions is finance and how to better understand how money works. He likes to help students truly understand the financial impact of decisions that they will make. Whether that is through understanding the actual cost of loans over time, or how to effectively maximize their tuition budget.

One word to describe John would be determined. He loves to exercise and closely follows the Indianapolis Colts and Indiana Pacers. A fun fact about him is that he started a food pantry at the University of Purdue during his undergraduate studies. His goal with his work is to give back to others, which is why he is so excited to be able to help students on this journey.
