Barbie Burgett joined us this May as a Lead Concierge and has recently transitioned to the role of Enrollment Manager. As Enrollment Manager Barbie helps to support our event registrations and ensure a smooth transition for our new scholar families. Supporting education has been a passion of Barbie’s, along with providing excellent customer service.

Barbie is a proud Aggie, “Whoop!”, graduating from Texas A&M with a degree in Business Marketing. She has worked over 10 years in K-12 technology sales, both with Apple Inc. and Dell Technologies. She was an award-winning contributor and an integral part of many district wide technology implementations.  Barbie took time away from her profession to raise her family. During that time she has stayed active in her children’s schools with different roles in the PTA, one of those being President of Project Graduation for the recent Senior class of ’23.

 

She grew up in Dallas but has called Austin home for the past 25 years. Barbie joined the Austin running scene and worked up from 3 miles to completing 3 marathons and two 1/2 iron-mans. These days she can be found more frequently on the side-lines as a spectator at her kids’ soccer and lacrosse games. Her three children are at various stages of school in Round Rock ISD and Texas A&M and they keep her very busy. During her free time she participates in book club, her church, travel and scuba diving, house projects, taking care of the furries, and being a weekly delivery driver for Hope Austin (meal kits for local school districts).
